Tread depth above 1mm minimum (visual)
No obvious under-inflation across all axles
Wheel nuts seated correctly — no missing or loose nuts
No oil leaks visible at hubs
2 Lights & Reflectors
All marker lights operational
Indicators front and rear operational
Brake lights operational
Reverse lights operational
Number plate light operational
Reflectors and chevron markings clean and intact
3 Coupling & Landing Gear
King pin free of visible damage
Landing gear winds up and down freely
Landing gear safety pin in place
Trailer plug (suzie) and air-line couplings undamaged
4 Brakes & Air System
Air-lines free of leaks at couplings
Brake hoses visually inspected
Park brake holds the trailer
ABS warning light functional (where fitted)
5 Body & Structure
No visible damage to chassis frame
Mud flaps in place
Spare wheel secure (where fitted)
Side guards intact
