1 Brakes (Strip & Inspect)
Wheels removed on all axles
Brake drums removed for inspection
Brake linings measured and replaced if below limit
Brake drums machined or replaced if scored
S-cams inspected for wear
Slack adjusters serviced or replaced
Brake chambers tested for leaks under pressure
Park brake springs tested
2 Wheel Bearings & Hubs
Wheel bearings inspected for play and noise
Wheel bearings repacked or replaced
Hub seals inspected and replaced if leaking
Hub oil level checked and topped up (oil-bath hubs)
Wheel stud and nut condition assessed
3 Gearbox & Differential
Gearbox oil drained, inspected and replaced
Gearbox magnetic plug inspected for metal
Differential oil drained and replaced
Differential breather cleaned
Driveshaft U-joints inspected and greased
Centre bearing inspected (where fitted)
4 Exhaust & Emissions
Full exhaust system inspected for leaks and damage
DPF condition checked (where fitted)
AdBlue/DEF system pressure tested (Euro 5/6)
AdBlue tank cleaned and refilled
AdBlue dosing module inspected
Engine warning lights cleared and verified
5 Electrical & Lighting (Full Test)
Battery load test performed
Alternator charge rate tested under load
Starter motor draw tested
All cab and dashboard electrics tested
All exterior lights tested at trailer plug
Reverse buzzer/alarm tested
Wiring loom inspected for chafing or damage
6 Retarder & Auxiliary Systems (if fitted)
Retarder fluid level checked
Retarder operation tested on road test
PTO operation tested (where fitted)
Refrigeration unit serviced (where applicable)
Tail lift function and safety tested (where applicable)
7 Steering & Suspension
Steering box oil level checked
Steering linkage inspected for wear
Track rod ends checked for play
Suspension U-bolts torque-checked
Spring shackles inspected for cracks
Air suspension levelling valve tested (where fitted)
